Natu-Art, Youth Centre - GRACE LIM CHIA ZHIE
The Natu-Art youth centre is for youth aged 13 to 21 years old. It is a youth centre that is centered around art. The Natu-Art youth centre is for developing new skills and cultivate some hobbies. Besides, it also provided the space to socialize, learn and interact with others through art interaction activities. For instance, an arts and craft gallery is provided as the dominant space of the Natu-Art youth center, together with additional workshops such as art craft workshop, sewing workshop, and drawing studio. Moreover, it also provides an outdoor open space such as an outdoor exhibition area, a decking area that responds to the site stream, an existing playground for outdoor activities, or simply to relax and chill. The Natu-Art allows the youth to embrace the beauty of nature, and intend to integrate the building with its landscaping.

Hello. It's Grace from Kuala Lumpur. For me, an architect is in part an artist of forms, materials, light, and occupiable space. And while the range of medium employed to achieve architecture from start to finish is perhaps more complex and technical than other forms of art, the beauty of architecture, like any other art, comes in the compelling expression of ideas and in how the elements are composed and executed. Hence, nature that surrounded is the best inspiration for me.
